Serie : The Practice of Everyday Life
L'invention du quotidien
The drawings consist of representing three dimensions: the drawing space, "l'invention du quotidien" and the shape of a letter.
In the "drawing space" series, the drawings represent movements in several situations: in buses in Brazil, on a bicycle in Canada, in an elevator, at a street crossings, during turbulence in planes, the emotions felt in a theater during a play ... These drawings are often related to installations or performances and are developed at a time close to the state of trance.
In the series "l'invention du quotidien", the drawing aims more to print the encounter with the other, face to face or walking or to retain a simplified perspective of an object or a place.
Finally, the series "Unshaped Letters" aims at the formation of letters and fits literally through the series of performances on language.
